Take a Walk Through Our Coffee Terminology
Arabica

Robusta
A more dark and intense coffee, this coffee is also more resistant to pests. It yields a greater crop and requires less stringency in the monitoring of its conditions, which accounts for its cheaper production cost.
Cherry
The fruit that coffee plants bear are called coffee cherries. Each coffee cherry contains two coffee beans.
Pulping
The process in which the outer skin of the coffee cherry is removed is called pulping. It leaves behind only the seeds of the fruit, also called coffee beans, which can then be processed.
